This spare wheel carrier is made of stainless steel by Nakatanenga and fits Land Rover Defender station wagon and hard top from 2002.

The carrier is fitted to the rear cross member and a plate is fitted to the existing drill holes on the door which is connected with the carrier by 2 stainless steel swivel heads.

The carrier is suitable for all Land Rover Defender with rear door (Station wagon and Hard top)
It is entirely made of stainless steel and its bearing is maintenance free.
The carrier is compatible with NAS rear step and Land Rover bumper with tow bar.

The spare wheel carrier has a slot for an optional reversing light such as the Vision- X Duralux 90^o LED reversing light with E- mark of conformity.

The spare wheel carrier sways open together with the rear door so there is no need to unlock anything separately.

This carrier is available in stainless steel black powder coated.

Product Description

This spare wheel carrier is made of stainless steel and fits Land Rover Defender station wagon and hard top.

The rear door of the Land Rover Defender can’t cope with the weight of the spare wheel for long. After 5 years or 50,000 km, depending on the stress, first cracks on the door frame start to form.
You have two choices to solve this problem; either the spare wheel will be fitted to the bonnet, unfortunately not possible for TD4 from 2007, or you fit this spare wheel carrier to the rear of your Defender. This carrier relieves the rear door completely from the weight and it sways when you open the door.

The carrier is fitted to the rear cross member and a plate is fitted to the existing drill holes on the door which is connected with the carrier by 2 stainless steel swivel heads.

This spare wheel carrier has been full-scale tested and combines easy fitting with high load-carrying capacity and easy handling.

The carrier is suitable for all Land Rover Defender with rear door (Station wagon and Hard top)
