Additional interior light for Land Rover New Defender from MY 2020

Even if the new Defender is advertised as a workhorse, some details for daily work with the L663 are definitely in need of improvement. This includes the interior lighting in the cargo area, which is a bit sparse in the original equipment and does not have sufficient ceiling lighting.
This is particularly problematic because the loading space is often full or modified by fittings. Our LED Lightbar solves this problem with more than sufficient 396 lumens of light output. The strip is mounted centrally in the interior paneling above the tailgate and thus illuminates every corner of the cargo area - ideal for locating equipment quickly and for safe working at any time of the day or night.
The installation of the 36 cm long and 2 cm wide LED strip is very easy: It is simply inserted into the edge of the upper door panel with the help of two clips. Precisely measured recesses in the clips keep the light bar firmly in place. Connection to the vehicle electrical system is just as simple. The cable is simply pushed behind the panels of the door and the right D-pillar and led to the built-in original lamp next to the fuse box. This can usually be done without removing the covers.
Last but not least, the plug of the LED light bar is simply clicked into the connection of the side lamp. This automatically activates the light strip with the original lighting, e.g. when the tailgate is opened or the interior switch is pressed. In addition, the bar can also be activated and deactivated with its own touch button if required. The additional light has an E-mark and is approved for use in motor vehicles.
