A DTE tuning box can be installed in just a few simple steps. It is also possible to revert to the standard version at any time. In this way, the tuning box can be used again in your next vehicle when you change vehicles. Reprogramming for the new vehicle is 1x (with PowerControl) or 2x (PowerControl X) free of charge, provided the new vehicle has an equivalent engine type. If you switch to a different motor type, an additional hardware adjustment may be necessary. Please contact us for this.

DTE Systems gives you the freedom to choose. With the new tuning box, you have the option of choosing between three different and fully customizable driving programs:
Sport, Dynamic and Efficiency.
Note: The Efficiency program is only available on PowerControl X.
Sports: In Sport mode, all engine parameters are tuned for maximum performance. The vehicle reacts more directly for a responsive driving experience.
Dynamic: Dynamic mode is a real all-rounder and balanced for long-distance rides. The vehicle responds more dynamically for more agility in every speed range.
Efficiency: (PowerControl X only) The efficiency mode optimizes the efficiency of the engine and thus supports a consumption-optimized driving style for savings in fuel consumption of up to 15%.

The DTE tuning box PowerControl X has a switchable efficiency mode. With this Eco program, fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 15%. The tuning pays for itself quickly. The main savings potential lies in the optimized torque. Full power is already available at low rpm. This allows gears to be changed earlier and driving in low gear saves fuel.
