This spare wheel carrier is made of stainless steel by Nakatanenga and fits Land Rover Defender station wagon and hard top to 2001.

The carrier is fitted to the rear cross member and a plate is fitted to the existing drill holes on the door which is connected with the carrier by 2 stainless steel swivel heads.

The carrier is suitable for all Land Rover Defender with rear door (Station wagon and Hard top)
It is entirely made of stainless steel and its bearing is maintenance free.
The carrier is compatible with NAS rear step and Land Rover bumper with tow bar.

Aluminium chequer plate anodised for the rear end door Land Rover Defender 90/100, outside,
Material:  3mm anodised aluminium in natural or black powder coated.

To cover the hole when you remove the original spare wheel carrier.
The use of anodised aluminium prevents the plate from oxidising.

A change of the rear door occurred in the model year 2002. Unfortunately one can’t determine the difference by the model year. 
Land Rover changed the rear door from aluminium with glued or grouted windows to steel with windows fitted with rubber seal.

Please check your door and choose a suitable size.

23 x 23 cm to 2002 with aluminium rear end door
45 x 28 cm from 2002 with steel rear end door
