Unprotected exhaust sensors can lead to a sudden vehicle breakdown. Our guard protects your vehicle’s NOX sensor, temperature sensor, and oxygen sensor. The oxygen sensor is the main sensor in the lambda control loop for catalytic exhaust cleaning, aiming to minimise emissions like nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, and soot. A faulty sensor disrupts the engine, as the mixture ratio can’t be properly adjusted, triggering a control error or the emergency running system. Not ideal on a long trip!
