The MUD fold-down table, designed for the rear door of the 2020> Defender (L663), fits 90, 110, and 130 models. This MUD Defender Rear Door Table distinguishes itself from repurposed 'Universal Fit/Jeep Wrangler' tables with brackets made for the Defender. The goal was to create a product that seamlessly integrates with the new Defender, avoiding the appearance of a generic aftermarket add-on. When fully folded, the table adds 58mm to the door's depth. Utilizing 3D scanning technology, the backplate's profile precisely matches the contours of the Defender's door trim. The design includes plastic corner finishers, integral hooks, a bottle opener, stainless-steel fasteners, and a composite slide-out table extension. Installing the MUD Defender Rear Door Table requires no drilling or modifications to the rear door trim. The laser-cut steel backplate, finished in black powder-coat, complements the Defender's rear door trim and is designed to allow full access to the door pocket and warning triangle compartment. Stainless-steel hooks are provided for hanging items like a camp light or kitchen utensils. The backplate attaches to the door trim using the original factory fixing points. A hook detail for hanging trash bags or towels and a bottle opener are integrated into the bottom of the backplate. The fold-down table is released with a simple one-handed operation by pulling the spring-loaded plunger handle. The table surface, made of stainless-steel, offers durability, and the slide-out extension provides additional working space. The main table area measures 700 x 320mm. Instead of plywood, a durable composite material in slate grey was chosen for the table extension to complement the Defender's interior.
