A vegetable oil conversion is a conversion of a diesel engine to allow a diesel vehicle to run on straight vegetable oil. This kit is an intelligent fuel system which warms the vegetable oil to the ideal temperature and then automatically switches the fuel supply from diesel to vegetable oil. This is the reason why we use a 2-tank system. One tank is for diesel to start the cold engine and flush the system when you park the car, and one tank is for vegetable oil to power your vehicle once the engine is warm. If you stop for a short time, you don’t need to flush the system, e.g. parking up to an hour in winter at above 10 degrees and maybe 2 hours in summer. You will find out within a short time how long it takes for your engine to cool down.

Most diesel engines can be converted to run on straight vegetable oil. Best suitable are diesel engines with in-line or distributor pumps from Bosch (except for type VP44), Diesel-Kiki, Nippon-Denso or Zexel. For the above injection systems are DIY (do it yourself) vegetable oil conversion kits available. They come with a detailed fitting instruction.

All other diesel engines with different injection systems such as unit injector or common rail injection can either be converted by us or unfortunately in worst cases they are not suitable for a vegetable oil conversion at all.

The vegetable oil conversion kit is available in 12V and 24V

Not only diesel vehicles such as cars, trucks, busses etc. can be converted but also diesel generators and diesel engines in boats; providing they have a suitable injection system.

The natural fuel you can use is pure vegetable oil which can either be bought new and unused (SVO) in bulks from a mill, distributor or shops or it can be used and then cleaned resp. filtered vegetable oil (WVO) You can collect the used vegetable oil from restaurants, fish and chips shops, school canteens, hospital canteens etc. Most of the chefs in those kitchens are happy for you to come and collect the oil. After you have collected the oil you need to clean/filter it. There are special routines necessary which are crucial for a long lasting perfectly running vegetable oil conversion on your vehicle.

For the cleaning procedure you can use parts such as a centrifuge, a filter system, filter bags etc. IMPORTANT: with this method NO chemical processing is required and NO additives just a good source of filtered vegetable oil.
