The PedalBox⁺ is the original accelerator tuning from DTE Systems and is now available with smartphone app.
The pedal tuning improves acceleration by up to +10% for all vehicles with electronic accelerator pedal – no matter if gasoline, diesel, hybrid or electric engines.
With the PedalBox app, the throttle controller can be operated, preset and updated via app.

In addition to the keypad, the new PedalBox⁺ can also be controlled with the PedalBox app. The throttle response controller can be easily switched on or off with the smartphone. Furthermore, each individual program preset can be customized and saved in the PedalBox app. Thus, the PedalBox⁺ always starts with the selected driving program and individual preferences.

A special highlight: The PedalBox app can be combined with the PowerControl app for the DTE performance box PowerControl X to control both tuning systems. With a simple swipe on the smartphone display, the driver has full control of the individual DTE tuning.

DTE pedal tuning: Quickly installed and ready to start

The PedalBox is installed in just a few steps: The two original throttle response controller PedalBox plugs are connected to the accelerator pedal electronic in the vehicle.
After installation, the PedalBox is immediately ready for use. Thanks to the supplied mount, the PedalBox is always placed within the reach of the driver.
With the enclosed adhesive pads, the PedalBox can be easily fixed and, e.g. when changing the vehicle, removed without residue.

 

 

How does the PedalBox work?

These days, most vehicles are "Drive-by-Wire" (called ECT or ECM), and not cable-driven like the old days (called the Bowden cable).
The modern systems typically suffer from excessive signal delay, which is where the PedalBox steps in and is able to unlock the vehicle's full potential.
What exactly does the PedalBox offer?
The "Throttle Response" curve shows the speed at which an engine responds to the driver's pressing of the accelerator. Poor response is clearly evident, especially under hard acceleration.
